User Support Services

Civitas offers Administrative Support and a Tier 1 Tier 2 Call Center to facilitate ongoing network operations. Administrative Support includes a sophisticated Operational Support System (OSS) for tracking users, reporting on usage, and billing (if applicable). Civitas Wireless Customer Support has been servicing wireless customers for over 5 years.  The Civitas Wireless Customer Care team offers customer support via email and toll-free phone in both English and Spanish and is dedicated to providing the best customer service experience possible.  In the event that additional support is required, all issues will be funneled through Civitas’s Network Operation Center for resolution. 

Network Management and Optimization

Civitas Wireless Network Operations Center (NOC) is the technical focal point of the Civitas Wireless support.  NOC currently manages over 250 square miles of wireless networks. Our performance reporting and predicting SLA compliance monitoring and reporting gives us constant real-time alerts so that we can ensure your system will operate at peak productivity.  Our Network Operations Center is the key to effective management.

Web-based network status is monitored 24/7 in real time. Our team:

• manages the overall network health, capacity, and network management;
• proactively implements software and network updates to ensure a consistent and robust user experience;
• acts as a resource for technical customer issues;
• serves as the point of contact for facilitating field activities related to the network.

Civitas Wireless has aligned our support teams with infrastructure views so we can immediately act on any abnormal system behavior, thereby allowing us to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Civitas Wireless proactively monitors your network’s health by providing a single point of contact for your entire infrastructure.  We will assist you with all maintenance and software management you might require.  We will also report and repair any problems either through your established Civitas point of contact or in coordination with the appropriate third party.

RF Survey & Architecture

In order to provide a reliable wireless environment, Civitas will perform an RF survey to determine the appropriate placement of equipment, RF signal propagation, and cabling and mounting components. Civitas will also work with our partner cities to identify access to the city’s “vertical assets” (roof-tops, towers, light poles) and supporting electrical connections for deployment of the wireless infrastructure.

User Experience

Civitas will design the look and feel of the initial user experience, based on the unique requirements of the city and the underlying business model.  This will ensure a cost-effective, properly managed, and sustainable network.

Deployment Services
